The Station, Goathland

Friends moved here recently. The husband had retired from Network Rail, so maybe it wasn’t surprising this was the newly acquired view from his house. Steam trains run from here through to Whitby. The station has featured in Harry Potter. This was painted early one morning, as the sun punched through the coldness.
