The Dean, Edinburgh

Edinburgh has many distinct areas, and Dean is a really lovely part, built around the Leith river. I sometimes describe Edinburgh as a dirty Bath, the stone work being darker due to age and make up, but no doubt a result of less focus on cleaning down the stone work compared to Bath. I’d be very happy spending more time painting my way around the city as there is so much to it.
