June at The New Inn, Blagdon

Low beams, old furniture, open fire, all of this makes it feel like it is trapped in time, but that’s exactly what we want from a pub like this. The New Inn has one of the best views of any of the pubs in this collection. I sat just up the road on a bench to do this painting, enjoying a glorious June evening and seeing lots of happy people coming and going.
