August at The Waldegrave Arms, East Harptree

It’s one of those pubs that has been sympathetically modernised but can still help you instantly step back in time. It’s a really old pub, dating back to the 16th century. 

It was a roasting hot afternoon and I loved watching the shadows push across the garden as the locals focused on squeezing the most from the day.
